You have a good talent to write the poems. I appreciate you very much. This is one part of our Khmer culture. In order to preserve our culture, the poems should also address to young generation inside and ouside of Cambodia to make them in understanding our culture, our origin, not only critic poems but also education. Khmer people are oppressed by actual regime. They accept to be poor but the leaders should give them a hope and confidence to live in harmony.

Thank you,
Your visitor

Can anyone please translate these poems into English for me? I would love to know more about Viet Nam and Cambodia, the trials and tribulations, the people and life style today, as much as I can learn. Oddly enough most literature that I have been able to put my hands on concerning the above has been scattered at best. I don't know why either. I was a young adult in the 60's and received a very jaded view of the era, mostly be the media who went for sensationalism over truth. My son, now a college student also is hungry for censor free and honest truth about such a terrible period in our lives. I lost a husband and a brother during the war and nothing has been put to rest in my heart because of the lack of true journalism. I appreciate your time in advance. Thank you! Sue
